The stone is substantial, a wide marquise orientated east-west, held at each tip by flat gold bezels. One arm of the open band carries a row of round pavé; the other tapers to a plain open end that sits against the back of the finger. The gap between the two band ends is part of the design; the ring doesn't close. Yellow gold, high polish. The large marquise dominates at this scale, and the single pavé arm adds just enough detail to break the plainness of the bypass without drawing focus away from the stone.
The open band needs to be sized carefully; it should flex slightly over the knuckle without the gap widening too much when worn. The east-west stone reads boldly at this size.
