The chain alternates between two station shapes: a round pavé disc and a kite-shaped diamond cluster connected by plain gold bars. As both sides of the chain converge toward the drop, the stations increase in size. The pendant itself is a vertical stack: a pavé circle, then a square emerald-cut diamond in a pavé frame, then another connector, then the final pear-cut ruby enclosed in a milgrain pavé halo at the base. The geometric variety across the chain, circles, kites, squares and the red ruby terminus gives the necklace a high level of visual complexity throughout its length.
The long-drop pendant needs a low neckline to hang freely. Because the chain itself is decorative, the necklace reads well even when the pendant isn't fully visible; a partially open neckline works.
