The bypass format works by having two band arms originate separately and cross at the front rather than meeting at a clasp or solder point, so the ring appears to be in continuous motion – one band passing over the other. The three oval diamonds at the crossover point are shared between both bands, making the stone group the structural pivot of the design. The pavé that runs along each arm from the crossover backward follows the diverging paths of the two bands, emphasising the crossing motion rather than containing it. Rose gold throughout gives the fluid, overlapping form a warm tone.
The open underside of this bypass ring means it sits with a visible gap at the base of the finger. Wear on the index or middle finger to allow the full crossover structure to be seen from above.
