The front section carries nine or ten teardrop paisley units in descending size from the centre outward, each one densely covered in green stone pavé emerald with a white diamond pavé border. Between the pendants, gold scrollwork vines connect each unit to a shared frame, with small diamond leaf accents growing off the vines. The entire front structure is open and lacy rather than solid. The chain attaches at the corners of the frame, with a small green stone dangling at the clasp end. White and yellow gold mixed throughout the setting.
The bib width and the pendant fringe both require a fully open neckline, strapless or off-shoulder. The green and white combination works against both dark and light fabrics but shows most clearly against ivory or black.
