The yellow pears vary in length within each fan section, creating a layered fringe effect. The fan sections themselves graduate in size from the shoulders to the centre, where the fringe is longest and densest. A white gold setting with the vivid yellow of the pear drops providing a sustained colour contrast across the entire front width. The fringe moves freely, so the yellow drops catch light independently from the white collar.
