The front panel is architectural; horizontal and vertical gold bars form a rectangular grid, with princess-cut yellow sapphires arranged in a cluster at the centre point and triangle-cut white diamonds occupying the surrounding cells. The grid widens as it extends upward toward the shoulders and narrows to a point at the base, forming a bib shape. The plain ring-link chain attaches at both top corners. This is a substantial piece, more collar or bib than pendant. The open lattice construction means it's lighter than it looks, but it sits wide across the décolletage.
The bib shape requires a very open neckline, such as strapless, off-shoulder, or a deep V. Nothing with a collar or straps. Wear it as the only neck piece.
